Who am I? 🤷
I am a Computer Science 💻 graduate from the University of Ottawa 🏫.
My favourite language to work with is Python 🐍 but I am proficient with many others like Java, C++, Typescript and more.
In my free time I like to practice my coding with side projects 🔨 like this website. I also love playing soccer ⚽ and cooking 🍳 .

My Education 📖
I graduated from my bachelors degree in April 2024, having switched programs from chemical engineering I was able to complete this in only 3 years. I completed my honours project in the final semester with professor Miguel Garzon.
I selected Chemical Engineering for my undergrad due to my high scores in maths and sciences in highschool. I completed 3 years of this degree before finding my true calling in coding. Although I had a passion for chemistry it turned out the work was not for me.
I went to highschool in my hometown of Waterloo Ontario where I studied in the AP (Advanced placement) program. I also participated in many school clubs and captained the soccer team. The school I went to has since been renamed to Laurel Heights.
Work Experience👷
At SaskPower I worked on a number of updates for web apps that were used to inspect power stations, equipment and properties operated by Saskpower. These apps were built using using React, Node.js, Angular, Ionic and Electron. Most of the work involved working with backend developers and stakeholders to coordinate adding new forms and features for inspecting new equipment. I was also involved in bug fixing, weekly scrum meetings, and some technical support.
During my time at Metal Pros I worked as 1 of only 4 employees in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Metal Pros is a small metal company that ships metal Canada wide to large buyers, such as Canadian Nuclear Systems. I spent time cutting metal and dealing with incoming and outgoing products. During my time here I Learned problem solving, teamwork and efficiency skills. I also was involved in planning organization strategies when a new building was bought by the owner of the shop.
